Hydrosols are gentle yet powerful therapeutic agents in their own right and considerably valued.
Hydrosol uses are extensive, and they have a softer, more subtle scent. Used in Skin Care (either in botanicals replacing water or they can be sprayed directly on your skin).

You can even use them in cooking (*ours, although organic, are not produced in a certified national program kitchen so therefore are not considered food grade.)

Hydrosols are the pure steam distillation of plant material and not only contain small droplets of essential oils but valuable compounds of the plant, that are not found in the essential oil, become dissolved in the distillation water.
The micro drops of essential oil provide the scent. The plant components give the hydrosols their herbal therapeutic properties.
The choices:
- Manuka – helps with managing pain and inflammation, making it an excellent choice for treating a myriad of skin issues. It is also wonderfully supportive for the respiratory system in case of cold or flu, especially when experiencing congestion.

Chamomile – Anti-inflammatory properties so is said to be wonderful for sensitive skin. It can be used to help soothe skin inflammation such as acne, eczema, rashes and sunburn. Toner for sensitive skin as it is a mild astringent, though not recommended for long term use if you have dry skin. Calming. Can be used for infants in the bath or spritzed on a cloth for a healthy alternative to baby wipes.

Kawakawa - Soothing, anti inflammatory and anti fungal.

- Lemon Balm – Balancing Facial toner and body tonic; especially good for mature skin types. Benefits: Antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, hydrating; lemon Balm (Melissa) is widely known to help stabilize mood by reducing anxiety and stress.
